I aim to create a safe and comforting space for you to discuss goals, process pain, and develop deeper self-awareness. It is easy to get stuck in survival mode and run on autopilot. Before you realize it, weeks have passed, and you can't seem to remember anything important. I am passionate about creating a space for adults to pause, process, and heal.
My Background and Approach
As a trauma-informed and person-centered therapist, I primarily work with adults, families, and couples who have experienced complex trauma, grief/loss, depression, chronic illness/pain, relational issues, and spiritual issues. I support clients in a collaborative format to set treatment goals. I utilize an integrative model for therapy because each person deserves a unique treatment plan to meet their goals. I pull aspects from person-centered, existential, and psychodynamic theories. I want to help clients live a life that is congruent with their values and beliefs. Additionally, I incorporate aspects of somatic therapy to increase body awareness and foster a stronger mind-body connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating a culture where people feel heard, respected, and seen. I can start this culture in my office, one client at a time. I hope to help clients feel confident in expressing their whole selves and identity.
