My expertise in life transitions comes from personal experience as well as my work with youth and adolescents in the LGBTQIA+ community. The age group I worked with were between the ages of 13 and 24, during which time many were entering or graduating high school or entering or graduating college. I have assisted clients in navigating these transitions, as well as gender transitions, job transitions, people experiencing homelessness, and changes to living arrangements.

While working with adolescents and youth (ages 13-24) in the LGBTQIA+ community, I provided therapy to clients either exploring their gender identity or transitioning, whether it be along the gender binary or within the non-binary spectrum.

A lifelong ally, most of my experience in practice comes from providing individual and group therapy to youth and adolescents (aged 13-24) in the LGBTQIA+ community at Zebra Coalition (Orlando, Florida)

I believe that finding meaning and purpose in our daily lives is one of the ways that we are able to make it to the end of our lives without a wealth of regret.

It is my goal to always honor equity in my sessions, making sure to not place myself as above my client but rather to place myself in the role of collaborator and accomplice. I also try to make sure to honor the clients personal background, intersectional identities, cultural influence, societal circumstances, political sphere, and family of origin when I choose interventions or approaches to their concern.

As a long time yoga teacher and movement enthusiast, I believe that achieving goals of wellbeing and health requires an approach of holism, in that parts of a whole person cannot function without being part of the whole person: Mind, body, and spirit. This is not to say that one cannot be healthy at any size or shape or that you must adhere to a specific spiritual teaching, but rather that we must take the same care with one part as we take with all parts of ourselves.
