About My Clients
In my work, I promote social justice, empowerment, and choice to help my clients build inner strength and capability. I specialize in relational issues and helping people of all backgrounds build healthier interpersonal relationships. I work to provide my clients with a healing space through person-centered, trauma-informed, narrative, and feminist approaches. I also believe that creative spaces and play spaces are healing so lets get colorful!
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a BA in Journalism in 2018. I then graduated from Northwest University with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 with a practicum/internship experience with LifeWire in Bellevue. There, I helped survivors of intimate partner violence stabilize their lives and gain help from their communities. After that, I worked in group private practice as an associate therapist for three years learning play therapy, creative arts integrated therapy techniques and developmental psychology.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, am neurodivergent, and have some experience with health and physical ability limitations. I am currently Agnostic but have a rich background and understanding in multiple faiths, faith transitions, and religious trauma.
