I am EMDR trained and DBT-certified, providing a solution focused approach to those struggling with unresolved trauma, severe anxiety, chronic illness, and ongoing substance use recovery maintenence.

While in session, I utilize DBT, EMDR, or talk therapy depending on your preference. I believe it is important to create a safe, warm, and constructive alliance for your therapy needs. I will support and encourage you process, analyze, self-reflect, and self-empower to learn more about yourself and grow on your therapeutic journey. In our sessions, you'll gain valuable insights into your thoughts and behaviors, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. You'll feel heard and understood, and together we'll work on fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and emotional healing. My goal is to empower you to overcome challenges and achieve a balanced, fulfilling life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the individual rights of all persons. I serve, and have firsthand experience in the LGBT community. I have over 5 years experience working with HIV-related populations, as well as experience in working with the disability community. I understand that things are seldom black and white when it comes to the complexity of the human experience. I believe in each individual's capacity for resilience and feel it should be celebrated on their path to growth and healing.
