About My Clients
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, or unsure how to set boundaries without feeling guilty. Others feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together while quietly struggling with depression, stress, or grief. When life starts to feel this heavy, it can be helpful to have a place where you can slow down, talk things through, and make sense of what you’re experiencing.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2023 and have worked in both outpatient counseling and social work roles. Common concerns I help adults with include: - Anxiety and depression - Stress and burnout - Life transitions - Grief and loss - People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries - Dating and relationship challenges - Developing coping skills and self-care practices My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered - I work with clients to find what feels most helpful for them. I frequently incorporate strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with practical tools to help manage anxiety, stress and overwhelming emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My style is warm, direct, and non-judgmental. I want therapy to be a space where you can be honest about what you’re going through while also learning practical ways to care for yourself and navigate life’s challenges. I believe that the people who come to therapy already carry a great deal of insight about their own lives, even if things feel confusing in the moment. You are the expert on your own experiences. If this approach resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect and see if working together feels like a good fit.
