About My Clients
Therapy to me means leaning in to yourself - your own truth, values, relationships, and goals. And no one should have to do this alone. I support clients in finding their path, getting rid of blocks, and finding the space to enjoy the present moment.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by profession and a person with quirks, strengths, and flaws by default. Since 2015 I've worked with teens and adults as they navigate their life, relationships, and for many a past experience of trauma. I used a holistic and eclectic approach in therapy because I believe our mind, body, and environment impact our well-being; and that therapy is not one size fits all. My goal in the work I do is to truly work with you to reach what you feel called for. I take particular interest in offering support to improve relationships in life - whether its your relationship with yourself or your relationship with a new or long term partner(s), a family member, or a friend.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in openness, because with openness we learn and grow in incredible ways. I value diversity, respect, and compassion because they create and environment that uplifts everyone in it. Therapy can be one of the hardest things a person does in their life, and to allow another person in to that journey can be so intimidating. As a white-identifying cisgender therapist I am aware that I've experienced privileges. I want to truly learn about the life experience and driving forces for each individual person or couple I work with. My goal is not to tell you how to live your life or what to do with your relationships, my goal is to help provide you with the tools to find fulfillment in the ways that are meaningful to you.
