About My Clients
I primarily work with adults, couples, and older adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, the LGBTQIA+ community, relationship challenges, as well as personality and mood disorders. Many of my clients are looking for a space where they can explore who they are without fear of judgment or shame. You deserve a space where nothing feels too messy, too complicated, or too taboo to talk about. My clients often say they feel genuinely seen and accepted.
My Background and Approach
I became a counselor because I grew up in communities shaped by trauma, systemic disadvantage, and limited access to mental health resources. I saw how silence, stigma, and generational patterns often kept people trapped in survival rather than healing. I created a space where vulnerability is met with safety and compassion instead of judgments. I blend attachment work, trauma-informed care, nervous system education, CBT, experiential interventions, and curiosity to create therapy that is both deeply validating and intentionally growth-oriented. My goal is to help clients understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and move beyond survival into a life that feels authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am neurodivergent and have experience working with this community. I am a strong advocate for acceptance and awareness for this population and incorporate that in my work. I am an active ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community both professionally and personally. I have a big emphasis on trauma and nervous system awareness work within my practice because we have been socially conditioned to disconnect from our emotions and our bodies for the sake of productivity without discussion about what that costs. Being human is messy and confusing, but it also should be exciting and authentic.
