About My Clients
I specialize in working with kids, teens, and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, depression, self-harm, or a recent crisis. My ultimate goal is to help clients make sense of their experiences while building practical tools and coping skills to learn to manage emotions effectively and regain a sense of safety and control. I love incorporating art, music, and movement into therapy because not everyone learns or processes information the same way.
My Background and Approach
My approach is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, which means I consider how early relationships and past experiences impact functioning, while using strategies to support regulation, insight, and healing. Above all, my biggest priority is to create a safe, trusting environment where you can feel supported and understood. Reach out for more info!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have volunteered in schools for over a decade, and I also have a master's degree in School Counseling. There is a striking increase in self-harm and SI in teens and young adults, and this is a topic that I am incredibly passionate about. In a world where people feel increasingly disconnected and like they don't belong, I am passionate about being involved in non-profits and events that are more inclusive and foster a sense of community and belonging. I also volunteer for the Crisis Text Line because I think it's important to have a real person respond to you in some of your darkest moments.
