About My Clients
I work with clients experiencing anxiety and school refusal including those with neurodivergence. I use a collaborative approach and enjoy partnering with schools and outside providers to support clients in all aspects of their life. I enjoy working with parents to help support their children navigating these issues.
My Background and Approach
Through my years of experience working with adolescents and families as a school social worker, I have a wide variety of tools to support families. I enjoy partnering with parents to support children, adolescents and young adults experiencing stress and anxiety which interferes with daily functioning. I specialize in school avoidance and working with neurodivergent youth. I often use a combination of therapeutic approaches to best fit the needs of my clients. In your first session, we will explore your background, current issues, and goals. We will create a treatment plan that works best for you and builds on your current strengths. My goal is to empower clients to become the best version of themselves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about supporting the neurodivergent community. Throughout my 9 years as a school social worker, I have become a strong advocate for neurodivergent and twice exceptional (2E) students. I believe all teens have the ability to thrive when given the right tools and encouragement to become empowered!
