About My Clients
I work best with individuals who are open to exploring how trauma has shaped their lives, particularly within the context of relationships. Our social connections profoundly influence who we are and how we engage with the world. As social beings, we have an innate need to be loved and understood, but trauma can make these connections feel unsafe, leading to painful patterns in relationships.
My Background and Approach
I integrate techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic modalities, while also recognizing that authentic connection, humor, and vulnerability are just as vital to healing. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness practices and somatic work to support the whole person.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my work, I emphasize social healing, safety, and trust. My approach is relational, grounded in the belief that every client has the internal resources to live a life they are proud of. I offer direct, tangible feedback, tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs.
