About My Clients

It is my responsibility as a counselor to walk alongside you and help you on your journey. Through reflection, healing, and self-empowerment, you will find your way back to your most authentic self. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, open, and allows you to be your whole, genuine self without fear of judgment.
My Background and Approach
I utilize techniques from multiple evidence based clinical theories such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Counseling to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and learn new approaches to old problems.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide services to individual adult clients of all ages with diverse gender, sexual, and cultural identities. As a Black Queer Woman, I know the profound and positive difference it makes to work with a mental health provider who is culturally competent and who helps you to feel seen and welcomed in all aspects of yourself; this is why I work hard to create and maintain a safe & supportive clinical space in which my clients are able to bring their authentic self into the room. I am dedicated to utilizing my personal experience and clinical skill set to provide multiculturally competent & informed support to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color as well as persons within the LGBTQIA+ community.
