About My Clients

Many of my clients are thoughtful, insightful people who feel stuck in a complicated relationship with food, body image, self-worth, or themselves. Some are navigating eating disorders, ADHD, neurodivergence, burnout, masking, or people-pleasing. Many have spent years feeling misunderstood or like their experiences don't fit neatly into traditional boxes.

My Background and Approach

With over 17 years of clinical experience, I bring a collaborative, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy. I believe healing begins with understanding yourself more fully and learning to approach your experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. My work is integrative and draws from CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, self-compassion, psychoeducation, and creative approaches, including art therapy. Together, we'll explore patterns, build practical tools for everyday life, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop greater self-understanding and body respect. I practice from a multicultural, neurodiversity-affirming, and Health at Every Size® (HAES) informed perspective. I strive to create a warm, accepting space where all parts of you are welcome and where therapy can be tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are more than their diagnoses, symptoms, or struggles. Many of the challenges we experience make sense when viewed through the context of our life experiences, relationships, environments, identities, and unique ways of moving through the world. I believe healing is not about becoming a different person. It is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself, building a more compassionate relationship with yourself, and learning to work with your strengths rather than against them. I believe all parts of you have value and deserve curiosity, respect, and care. My work is grounded in body respect, self-compassion, neurodiversity affirmation, and the belief that meaningful change is possible. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, sustainable, and aligned with their values.
