About My Clients
My clients often feel like they’ve spent years being “too much,” “not enough,” or simply wired differently than the world expects. Many are neurodivergent — living with ADHD or autism — and exhausted from trying to function in systems that don’t fit them. Some are also navigating trauma, identity, or the particular weight of military life. What they share is this: they’re tired of pushing through alone and ready for a space where they don’t have to explain themselves to be understood.
My Background and Approach
Before becoming a therapist, I worked directly with autistic children in clinical settings and with families navigating crisis, including domestic violence and housing instability. That experience shaped how I work: grounded, practical, and focused on what actually helps in real life — not just in theory. I’m also part of a military family, so I understand the realities of deployment, frequent moves, and the quiet strain that comes with that life. My approach is calm, steady, and collaborative. I provide fully affirming LGBTQ+ care through OutCare Health and work with children (5+), teens, adults, and parents who want to better understand and support their neurodivergent child. I draw from EMDR, parts work, CBT, and mindfulness — always adapting to what actually fits you.
Why I am a Good Fit for You
If you’ve tried therapy before and left feeling like you had to educate your therapist — or like your experience didn’t quite fit their framework — that’s not a small issue. And it’s not on you. I specialize in the people I work with because I’ve lived and worked alongside them, not just studied them. Neurodivergent clients don’t spend sessions explaining what ADHD or autism actually feel like. LGBTQ+ clients won’t be met with careful neutrality. Military families won’t have to translate their world. I also work closely with parents of neurodivergent children — not to “fix” them, but to help bridge the gap between how your child experiences the world and how to support them in a way that actually works. If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, reach out and we can talk about whether it feels like a good fit.
