About My Clients
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years holding things together. They often overthink, overfunction, or carry more responsibility than feels sustainable. Many feel anxious, burned out, disconnected, or quietly dissatisfied despite doing all the right things. They are not looking for surface level coping or passive therapy. They want depth, clarity, and real change that helps them feel more settled in their lives and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience working with adults who are thoughtful, self aware, and often hard on themselves. My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and relational therapy. These approaches help us understand patterns rather than pathologize them and create meaningful change without forcing or fixing. Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We pay attention to what is happening in real time, including thoughts, emotions, and body responses, so insight turns into lived change. I help clients slow down internal pressure, relate differently to overthinking and self criticism, and build a steadier sense of trust in themselves. My work focuses on helping people move out of overdrive and into a more sustainable way of living. The aim is not constant self improvement, but greater ease, clarity, and the ability to respond to life with more choice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change comes from understanding the deeper patterns shaping our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, not just managing symptoms or offering reassurance. For many people, this deeper understanding is what finally creates relief. Self compassion matters to me, especially toward the parts of ourselves we tend to judge or push away. I believe emotions are a custom system that tell us what we care about. All emotions and parts are welcome. At the same time, not every emotion needs to be acted on or taken at face value. Therapy, to me, is about learning how to relate to your inner world with curiosity, clarity, and choice rather than pressure or self criticism. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded and in control, more compassionate with themselves and others, and better able to respond to life with ease, perspective, and agency.
