About My Clients
If you’re neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+, or exploring these identities, you may have learned to mask or dissociate to belong and are still unlearning those survival strategies. As a result, you might have complex trauma, which can be expressed through: people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty trusting others, shame, pain, exhaustion, numbness, or feeling stuck. The same nervous system shaped by danger can also build capacity for safety, presence, joy, restorative rest, and pleasure.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily with: Interoception- Somatic therapy invites awareness of 8+ sensory pathways shaping how you feel, move, and relate. Through stillness, we attune to breath, heartbeat, and emotion; through gentle movement and play, we sense position, boundaries, and support—restoring safety, presence, and connection. From body awareness, the inner landscape emerges. Intuition- Expressive arts move sensation into image and metaphor. IFS parts work builds relationships with protective and exiled parts, supporting regulation and coherence. Dreams, creativity, and meaning-making deepen insight, self-trust, and integration. Integration-Interpersonal Neurobiology explores how brain, body, mind, and relationships shape one another. By tracing back patterns of stress & threat and cultivating a felt sense of safety in the present, this approach fosters integration between the brain hemispheres, body and mind, and self and others, facilitating embodiment & expansion between and beyond sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Despite systems that try to keep neurodivergent, queer, and trans people hidden, dislocated, or isolated, we transgress limiting constructs and embody freedom and wholeness, something many were never allowed to claim. We’re born with that wholeness, yet we may have been rejected or punished for it. As a protective strategy to increase chances of safety & belonging in our family, school, social, and/or religious systems, we unconsciously repress core parts of ourselves through dissociation and fragmentation, adapting to love that feels conditional and belonging earned through performance rather than authenticity. Over time, we can lose access to our inherent wisdom—our truth, needs, desires, and boundaries. When safety becomes possible, we can meet and reclaim core parts of ourselves and reorient to the world through a different lens. Fragmentation can be reintegrated, the nervous system repatterned, and the link between safety, wholeness, and authentic freedom restored.
