Tatiana Vukotic (she/her(s))

I received my Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I completed my dissertation on the existential-phenomenological analysis of another's stare at autistic comportment during Eastern Orthodox Liturgy. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan in community mental health centers, a behavioral health hospital, university counseling centers, and group private practice. My therapeutic approach is culturally responsive and primarily rooted within Relational psychology. In therapy, we may explore the collaborative impact(s) of our external world, interpersonal relationships, and the way(s) in which we make meaning within our lived circumstances. I also make use of techniques in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to empathically support my clients in fostering healthy coping skills and alternative ways of attuning to thoughts and emotions.

It is my main goal to co-create an open and warm therapeutic space of collaboration where we can together unfold your experiences and culture while strengthening insight, broadening perspectives, nurturing meaningful relationships, and nourishing self-compassion. Oftentimes, current (and past) stressors and uncertainties may be impacting your lived experience and sense of belonging in the world; I am honored to walk with you along this journey toward healing and owning your unique space in the world.
