About My Clients

I guide my clients to self-reflect and access aspects of their internal self that desires change, healing, and self-acceptance. I will help you to look both into your conscious and subconscious world and work out through patterns that are no longer serving you, and replace them with ones that do. Possible outcomes of this work: decrease in self-criticism and doubt, emotional intelligence and regulation, mindfulness, relationships with healthy boundaries and clear communication of needs.

My Background and Approach

My style is very compassionate, mindful and emotion focused. My goal as a therapist is to foster genuine inner connection, so that my clients can leave therapy with deeply enriching and lasting personal and interpersonal lives. I have received extensive training in Expressive Arts Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and thus combine both traditional Freudian talk therapy with creative approaches for self-expression such as: visual art, creative writing, music, dream analysis, authentic movement and nature. Below are my credentials: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training, Maple Counseling Center, Beverly Hills, Ca 2017 Master of Counseling Psychology/Expressive Arts Therapy Degree, California Institute of Integral Studies, 2016 Certified 200-HR Yoga/Mindfulness Teacher, Yoga Garden, San Francisco, 2016 Master of East-West Psychology (Depth Psychology) Degree, California Institute of Integral Studies, 2013 Bachelor of Psychology Degree, University of Southern California, 2011

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that psychotherapy is sacred work which can have the potential to lead one to discover depth, joy, internal freedom and authenticity both personally and interpersonally. I also believe that this work is not easy, and requires the investment and commitment of the individual, yet well worth it; one of my all time favorite quotes is by Oscar Wilde, which says "To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance." The quote truly depicts a possible outcome of therapy: Self-love and Compassion.
