About My Clients

My ideal client feels emotionally overwhelmed or stuck and unsure how to move forward. They may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, or stress that’s impacting their relationships, work, or sense of self. Many appear high-functioning on the outside but feel burnt out, disconnected, or stretched thin inside. They’re seeking clarity, balance, and a nonjudgmental space to be honest, better understand their emotions, build healthier coping skills, and feel more grounded.

My Background and Approach

I am a Mental Health Counselor–Limited Permit (MHC-LP) with experience supporting individuals across non-profit organizations, college counseling centers, and marginalized populations. I am trained in CBT, DBT, and SFBT, which allows me to tailor evidence-based strategies to meet each client’s unique needs. I provide a warm, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive space where clients can explore what’s weighing on them at their own pace. My approach is collaborative and affirming, helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, self-worth, and identity concerns while building coping skills, resilience, and self-understanding. I partner with clients to ensure therapy is empowering, practical, and aligned with their personal goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone can grow and change at any point in their lives. Mental health challenges often stem from learned patterns and environmental influences, which means they can be unlearned and replaced with healthier habits and settings. My own experiences with challenges have shown me that healing is possible — I want to help you feel that same sense of empowerment. I work with clients from marginalized communities and bring a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to therapy. I actively support anti-racism, social justice, and LGBTQ+ rights, and I love finding ways to make mental health accessible and affirming for everyone. I also think tattoos are a great form of self-expression, but I won’t judge if you disagree. If you want to learn more about how I can help, send me a message — I’d love to connect.
