I'll help you address the obstacles and find ways to change them, accept them, or solve them.
My Background and Approach
My preferred approach is a person-centered, strengths based approach that emphasizes a partnership between the client and therapist. Depending on the needs of each individual, I draw from cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and problem solving therapy. I enjoy being able to provide support and helping individuals learn coping skills that will help them throughout their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a strong ally for trans rights and helping friends, family members, and community members understand and support trans youth. I'm also actively involved in Girl Scouts to help impact and be a positive, inclusive influence in the lives of young girls.
