About My Clients
Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but privately carrying a lot—overthinking, self-criticism, difficulty trusting, or repeating painful relationship patterns. Some are navigating the lingering effects of trauma, grief, chronic stress, or complex family dynamics; others want support with identity development, boundaries, and more authentic connection. Clients often come to me wanting both insight and relief: they want to understand why they feel the way they do.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based interventions, and psychodynamic/insight-oriented therapy, with an attachment-informed and trauma-aware lens. My clinical background includes extensive training in medical and health psychology settings, including VA placements and integrative care environments, where I worked with complex presentations such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, and life transitions. In therapy, we’ll clarify what maintains the problem (patterns, beliefs, avoidance, relational dynamics), strengthen skills for emotion regulation and values-based action, and also make room for deeper work around attachment needs, self-worth, and meaning. My goal is to help you feel more resourced internally—more flexible, more connected, and more able to live in alignment with who you are.
