About My Clients
I work with teens and adults who feel stuck in cycles of intrusive thoughts, rumination, or compulsions related to OCD and anxiety. If you’re tired of your mind constantly asking “what if?” and want tools that actually help, we may be a good fit. In our work together we’ll build a clear plan, practice evidence-based strategies, and gradually help you face fears so OCD has less control over your life. I want you to walk away from our sessions with real strategies to use in your life.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and grounded in compassion. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in cycles of intrusive thoughts, anxiety, or urges that seem impossible to ignore. Together, we create a clear and structured plan to help you break those patterns and move toward the life you want. I believe therapy should feel supportive and human, so while we will do meaningful work, I also bring warmth and humor into the process to make difficult topics feel more approachable. With 12 years of clinical experience, I use evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). I work with people experiencing OCD, anxiety, panic, agoraphobia, BFRBs, and trauma, helping them face fears, reduce compulsions, and build confidence in handling uncertainty.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of my clinical work, my personal values center around care, responsibility, and respect for all living beings. I am a vegetarian and care deeply about protecting our planet. I try to live in ways that are mindful of the environment and supportive of sustainable, eco-friendly choices whenever possible. I also believe strongly in inclusion and strive to create spaces where people of all identities, backgrounds, and experiences feel welcomed, respected, and affirmed. Being an ally means actively supporting the dignity and safety of others, and I aim to bring that commitment into both my personal and professional life. I am passionate about human rights and believe every person deserves respect, compassion, safety, and a voice.
