About My Clients
At the start of therapy, many of my clients come in with a harsh inner critic and notice a toll on their mental health and well-being. They feel stressed, anxious, depressed, and lack confidence in themselves. Through our work together, we will identify limiting beliefs and thought patterns that are keeping you from living the life you want. I will help you to respond to the stories your mind tells you, learn new coping tools for stress, and develop self-compassion.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker, and a self-compassion informed therapist. Since entering the field in 2007, I have worked with hundreds of clients from all walks of life. My own mindfulness and compassion practice serves as the foundation for my role as your therapist, allowing me to show up to our sessions with a full embodied presence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an inclusive therapist. Aligned with my values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, my practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and a safe space for people of all races, backgrounds, religious practices, abilities, and body types.
