About My Clients
I work with adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and career-related stress. Many of my clients are professionals—particularly those in healthcare—seeking support in setting boundaries, managing burnout, and reconnecting with their sense of purpose. Others may be exploring healing from past emotional wounds, codependency, or religious trauma. Regardless of where they start, my clients share a desire to feel more grounded, empowered, and authentic.
My Background and Approach
My style is open, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership—one where you feel safe to be vulnerable, explore difficult emotions, and take steady steps toward growth. I use an eclectic and individualized approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to explore how thoughts influence feelings and behaviors Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) – to help reframe beliefs that may be holding you back Mindfulness-based techniques – to support regulation, presence, and peace of mind EMDR – to process trauma and emotional pain in a safe, structured way Our first few sessions will focus on getting to know you—your goals, values, and what brings you to therapy. From there, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your needs, whether that’s improving mood, healing from trauma, reducing stress, or finding a better work-life balance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the experiences that shape who we are. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique path. I’m passionate about helping clients reconnect with their values, build self-trust, and move through life with more clarity and authenticity. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time in nature—especially hiking and exploring new trails. I love to travel and find that experiencing different cultures brings a sense of perspective and renewal. When I’m home, I find joy in quiet moments, good books, and time with my dog, who’s always ready for the next adventure (or nap). These personal passions help keep me grounded, and they reflect the balance and wholeness I hope to help others find, too.
