About My Clients
I like to work with people who enjoy growing in a creative space, using writing, imagination and play to explore fears, hopes and challenges. I have a passion for working with people in the queer community, a space I find myself, always with more space to grow, learn and change. This world is vast, and I want to stay open to it all. This is a spirit I find inspirational in others.
My Background and Approach
I believe everyone deserves a safe and welcoming space to be seen, heard and respected. I work with adults and teens, providing a warm environment where you can be vulnerable and yourself. I deeply admire the resilience I see in others and sit patiently with those who feel distant from their strengths during difficult times. I’m also passionate about supporting marginalized communities and individuals facing challenges connected to social justice, always centering compassion and respect. In my psychiatry practice, I embrace flexibility, having done extensive research in nutraceuticals and natural options to address symptoms, in addition to traditional psychopharmacology. I strongly believe that every person deserves a treatment approach that is aligned with their values and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have worked in street psychiatry with ACT teams in Denver, San Diego and Seattle. I have a dedication to working with those who are struggling with securing basic human rights. I worked on the Transgender Care Team at Cornell University. I am committed to providing care and support to people in this community. I have volunteered with Mutual aid in Denver, helping with food and transportation needs. I am an earthen builder on the side and love getting my hands into the soil.
