About My Clients
I specialize in supporting people who have experienced trauma. We all experience hard things, and therapy will not change our past. However, therapies like EMDR and SSP allow us to live differently. These therapies work to alleviate the distress stemming from our past, allowing us to live more freely. We retain our story, free from intrusive thoughts and overwhelming emotions. My clients seek to transform their daily experiences impacted by trauma, and strive for a different way of living.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy from a somatic, or mind-body persepctive. I use EMDR and Safe Sound Protocol to offer clients unique ways to change the way they feel about difficult memories and shift their nervous systems out of fight and flight mode. I am also a parent, and understand the unique pressures of showing up for yourself, your partner, and your children while working on yourself.
