About My Clients
I treat teens and adults. My specialties are depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, problematic substance use, eating disorders, low-self-esteem, ADHD, ADD, codependency issues, grief, and chronic illness. I offer In-Person Therapy and Teletherapy. I give a discount to clients who want to do therapy online. I have a sliding scale, because I feel all people deserve to have quality mental health care. I am passionate about what I do. You can count on me to walk with you every step of the way.
My Background and Approach
I believe that self-awareness and self-understanding are what release the ties that bind us. Many methodologies can get us there: attachment theory, Internal Family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, narrative therapy, Gestalt exercises, Reality Theory, and the exploration of the mind and how it works. I utilize what works best for each person I worth it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the right to love who they love. I believe that all people need to be is themselves. I believe everyone can become their authentic self with some patience and exploration. I believe that people are inherently good. People are violent because they have built protective mechanisms in their being to help them survive. I see what is hiding beneath the walls of protection, and I work with the client to help knock them down.
