About My Clients
I have provided over 15 years of Professional Mental Health Services to a wide range of patient populations including adults, adolescents and children. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient units. I have extensive experience working with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, conduct disorders, juvenile delinquency, eating disorders, self injury, ADHD and substance abuse.
My Background and Approach
I tailor my therapeutic approaches to the unique needs of each patient I encounter. My therapeutic techniques include cognitive behavioral, experiential, client centered, and family systems. I provide a safe, nurturing and non- judgmental setting that support efforts in the change processes. My treatment philosophy is that changes are always possible. I strive to assist my patients to navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier and happier life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I specialize in acculturation issues due to my extensive experience working with Spanish and Greek populations. I am able to speak Spanish and Greek.
