About My Clients

My clients are adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and life transitions. Many are high-functioning but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood. Some are new to mental health care; others are looking for a fresh start with someone who truly listens. I work well with individuals who value a thoughtful, collaborative approach and want more than just a quick fix. If you're ready to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support that journey.

My Background and Approach

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience, beginning in a Surgical Trauma ICU. That early work shaped my deep respect for human resilience and my belief that healing happens when care is compassionate, personalized, and grounded in trust. I provide medication management and talk therapy, with an integrative approach that supports the whole person—not just symptoms. My practice combines evidence-based psychiatric care with attention to lifestyle, nutrition, movement, and genetic factors that can affect mental health. I specialize in working with adults managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, and eating disorders. Whether you're looking for support through a life transition or seeking long-term stability, I offer a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward your goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in providing care that is compassionate, respectful, and trauma-informed. I have a deep empathy for individuals who have experienced domestic violence, and I’ve volunteered with local shelters to support survivors on their path to healing. I understand how complex and personal recovery can be, and I strive to create a safe space where clients feel empowered, not judged. I’ve also spent time volunteering with individuals and families affected by dementia. This work has strengthened my belief in dignity-centered care and the importance of patience, understanding, and honoring each person’s story. At the core of my practice is the belief that every individual deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported—without stigma. I’m committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and hope.
