About My Clients

You’ve been holding it all together—showing up for work, family, and everyone else. But now something’s shifting. Maybe you’re unpacking generational stories, navigating transitions that feel heavier than expected, or carrying wounds that are hard to name. You don’t have to do it alone. Healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating space for you. Just by being here, you’ve already taken a powerful step. You are enough. You are worthy of care.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed psychologist, Marine Corps veteran, and first-generation college graduate with a deep commitment to culturally affirming, trauma-informed care. My approach blends mind-body healing, narrative therapy, and real talk. I believe therapy should feel like a soft place to land—especially for those who’ve spent a lifetime in survival mode. I help clients unpack generational patterns, navigate identity shifts, and build lives rooted in clarity, self-trust, and rest. Whether you're the strong one, the cycle breaker, or the high achiever who’s exhausted from holding it all together, I meet you with compassion and curiosity, not judgment. Healing isn’t linear, but it is possible—and it starts with being seen, heard, and supported. My work is grounded in both clinical expertise and lived experience, and I show up fully as a human in the room. You don’t have to perform here. You get to be real.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I show up in this work as a Black woman, a Marine Corps veteran, a first-generation college graduate, and a lifelong advocate for healing justice. I believe therapy is not just about personal growth—it’s also about reclaiming space in systems that were never built with us in mind. I support movements that center racial equity, trauma healing, mental health accessibility, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and the right to rest. I’m especially passionate about working with folks who’ve felt invisible, overburdened, or like they always have to “be the strong one.” Outside of therapy, I write, podcast, and create healing spaces that honor cultural wisdom, joy, and self-trust. Whether you're navigating systemic stress, burnout, or identity shifts, I want you to know you're not alone. This is a space where all of you is welcome—no need to shrink or explain your existence.
