My Background and Approach
I've had the privilege of working in various settings, each contributing to my evolving philosophy of mental health care. These experiences include providing support at a domestic violence and sexual assault center, serving in community mental health, and collaborating closely with doctors and psychiatrists to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. My focus has been on creating a safe and empathetic space for individuals to rebuild their lives and embark on their journey of healing from the traumas they've endured. I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and complex life transitions. I combine evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to offer a well-rounded and personalized therapeutic experience. This approach is tailored to address the unique needs of each client.
