I help clients manage panic attacks with grounding exercises. When the client is ready, we explore the root cause of the panic disorder. Panic disorder has a biological component . It is nothing to be ashamed of, and it can not be ignored.

Depression can be a chemical imbalance, situational or both. Regardless of the cause, there are things you can do to treat it. Talk therapy is extremely effective in helping to manage depression. Isolation can contribute significantly to symptoms. Don't hesitate to seek help.

Generalized Anxiety disorder can be treated with Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I teach clients to stop thoughts that lead to increased anxiety. It is not normal to worry all the time. If you are unable to simply relax and be comfortable in the moment, get help to calm your racing mind.

I believe in a client centered approach that honors the client's cultural background and readiness to explore prior trauma. I have worked with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. My counseling is trauma informed and considers the whole of the individual.
