Come as you are and take what you need. Therapy is a space meant for you. I believe that our bodies, memories, thoughts, and relationships can provide us with vast knowledge to uncover deep patterns, truths, and vulnerabilities. In the same vein, I believe that everyone deserves a nonjudgmental space to explore their own unique pathway to wellness, whatever that may be.
My Background and Approach
I operate within trauma-informed modalities of person-centered therapy, internal family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy. Within the years that I have been working in mental healthcare, I have had extensive experience with individuals who have chosen to work through issues relating to depression, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem, self-harm, gender and sexual identity, cultural identity, relationships, ADHD, Autism, and more. Regardless of the topic, I believe that you, the client, hold the ultimate power and insight necessary for your own change. The world we face hands us with endless obstacles that leave us oppressed, traumatized, feeling empty or stuck. Whatever stage you are in, all parts of you is welcomed here in this (virtual) therapy room.
