About My Clients
I work with clients who may be struggling with depression or anxiety related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will go into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month with sustained improvement thereafter.
My Background and Approach
The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been using over my career helping people just like you. My goal is for you to have a combination of different techniques and approaches in your emotional toolbox that you can carry with you at all times. We will work collaboratively to address the panic attacks and anxiety. We address what is going on to help you find relief. You will gain resilience and confidence so that the anxiety doesn't get the best of you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I believe you are stronger than you think. We develop mental health issues as a result of picking up unhealthy learned behaviors through different experiences in our lives. Which means, that I think you can unlearn the unhealthy behaviors and replace them with heathy ones. I have suffered from anxiety all my life, through therapy and my personal faith, I have learned healthy boundaries, accessed resources, and different techniques to manage my life without anxiety debilitating me. I believe every person has the strength to change. I have witnessed powerful healing and growth through life. Being a therapist is truly a gift and I am honored that you would want me to walk along side of you in your journey.
