My Background and Approach
I receieved my masters degree in Psychology and Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2017. I have been practicing therapy ever since. I became a therapist because I wanted to help others combat trauma and improve their behavior thus improving self-confidence and self-esteem. I am someone who is caring, compassionate and fun person to be around! Together, you and I will develop a therapeutic relationship and build upon your strengths by meeting you where you are at currently. I will help you identify an outcome and help you stay focused on that healthy outcome. My therapeutic approach is person centered where I will allow you to identify healthy strategies to improve your situation. I specialize in CBT, so my approach is to help you reframe your mind and normalize situations you are experiencing.
