About My Clients

Do you feel like school, friendships, or life in general is just… overwhelming? Are you constantly on edge, worried about what’s coming next, or replaying things that happened in the past? I know exactly what that feels like the racing thoughts, the tight chest, the desire to just hide away until it all passes. These feelings can make daily life feel impossible, but you don’t have to face them alone. Together, we’ll explore holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive strategies to help.

My Background and Approach

The tools I’ll share with you are ones I’ve been developing throughout my career working with youth and young adults just like you. My goal is to give you multiple strategies that you can carry with you every day, so you always have discreet ways to manage stress, anxiety, or overwhelming emotions no matter where you are. I take a direct, collaborative, and solution-focused approach. Together, we’ll start with what’s happening for you right now and explore ways to gain control over your body, mind, and reactions. My practice is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I’ve trained in evidence-based techniques and holistic practices designed to help you understand how your brain and body respond to stress, so you can learn to calm yourself quickly. Over time, you’ll build resilience and confidence, giving you tools that last well beyond our sessions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every young person has the capacity to grow, heal, and reclaim their life at any stage. Mental health challenges often come from coping patterns we’ve learned over time, and I truly believe these patterns can be unlearned and replaced with healthier, more empowering ways of living. I bring my own experiences and understanding into my practice, having seen firsthand how trauma, anxiety, and social pressures can impact daily life. I am committed to helping youth and young adults, especially those from BIPOC communities, find relief, resilience, and confidence. I do not discriminate against anyone and strive to create a space that is safe, inclusive, and affirming. I actively support causes that promote equity, social justice, and mental health awareness, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ advocacy. If you’re curious about how we could work together, feel free to reach out, I’d love to hear from you.
