About My Clients
Are you ready for change? Are you looking for personal growth? Are you an overwhelmed caregiver needing a safe space to process emotions your experience? I work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and navigating life changes.
My Background and Approach
Our early attachment relationships shape our view of self, and our understanding of how we are to be in relationships with others. Throughout our lives, our surrounding environment and life experiences continue to shape and influence our personal narrative. Counseling provides an opportunity to explore these narratives, uncover hidden strengths, and find healing for our wounds. As a systemically oriented therapist, I recognize and value the influence that our environment and personal relationships have on mental health. I integrate concepts and techniques from many counseling theories, including narrative, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, Gottman Couples, Emotion Focused Couple’s, and Adlerian Family Therapy. I earned my MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from George Fox University in 2019. I am currently a registered intern with Oregon State, working under supervision of Tara Sanderson, PsyD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all have inherent strengths from which to draw upon for personal growth and healing. My role as a therapist is to help and encourage to rediscover and embrace your strengths while journeying toward healing and lifelong personal growth.
