About My Clients
I specialize in pre-teen, teens, adults, couples and families. I also facilitate group, individual and couples counseling sessions designed to deal with cognitive, emotional and behavioral imbalances. I use a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and techniques to help balance distress. In addition, I use a humanistic approach understanding that problems arise from from normal reactions to dealing with difficult life changes.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW) with over 16 years of experience. I provide a safe, relaxed and comfortable environment where you can be yourself and discuss anything without judgment. My motto is "You won't leave the same way you came". We work together to make every session different while building upon each session to allow you to gain new understanding and techniques for dealing with stressors. I am constantly working on improving my therapeutic skills with new innovative techniques. I have worked in various areas in the profession from children through geriatrics. I am comfortable and experienced in facilitating group therapy. My experience in this area encompasses children, care givers, dementia , ADHD, PTSD, couples, families and substance abuse. I specialize in treating bullying, depression, anger, stress, relation ship issues, anxiety and grief etc. Life can at times feel intense and unmanageable, but with guidance and commitment you can achieve anything
