About My Clients
Client's will be empowered to know how to safely and confidently integrate what they learn and explore in sessions to improve their interpersonal relationships and quality of life. My practice specializes in providing services for individuals and couples aged 19 and older in the use of specific therapeutic approaches that will guide them in addressing life’s challenges and transitions.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with a diverse population including people with trauma, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, grief and loss, and relationship problems. My practice also provides career and couples counseling. I bring to the counseling profession many years of integrated experience as a trained and certified educator of 23 years and specialist in working with individuals with learning and behavioral disabilities. I like to think of my work with client's as flexible enough to pivot to the needs of the individual, while remaining focused enough to achieve client goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My goal is for my clients to feel heard, supported and validated. After sessions with me, my client should feel supported in developing a personal toolkit that makes navigating the challenges and changes of everyday life easier; while creating better balance and a healthy understanding of how to meet their own needs.
