About My Clients

My clients quickly learn that their pains are not a weakness, but a portal towards wisdom and growth. Through my approach I work with you to enhance your innate strength, reconnect with your ability to continue thriving, and guide you towards self-compassion. I believe through the appropriate therapeutic approach, our deepest struggles and difficult life experiences can become the force of our greatest wisdom.

What I Specialize In

Through a multi-cultural lens, I provide individual and couples therapy on a variety of topics and concerns. I have 11 years experience working with an array of client populations, and emphasize the importance of honoring your history and current life circumstances. I am trained Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), with a specialty in complex trauma, women's mental health, topics of gender and the LGBTQ community, anxiety/depression, relationship dynamics, and other daily mental health concerns. I also specialize in emotional and trauma exposure, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness-based treatment through a third-wave contextual behavioral frame - the newest form of therapy within the field of psychology. I am versed across diverse cultures, and have unique experience understanding the effects of sexual assault, the consequences of war and conflict, the impacts of structural racism/multigenerational trauma and the humanitarian field.

My Values as a Therapist

As a daughter of immigrants, I have never felt it more important to honor the lived experiences that shaped us to this moment. My work involves understanding the unique experince of each individuals who enters my practice. My commitment to social justice principles, women's mental health, honoring those across culture and gender guides my daily approach to therapy. I know we many time shy away in our darkest moments. Though I believe when we are lost, our values and moral compass can become our guide towards empowerment. It is through the mud, and through the pain, we can discover who we're meant to be in this world - what will give purpose to our suffering. My only hope is to help guide you through your unique process, and towards a life worth living.
