About My Clients
I am an Social Worker with almost 20 years of experience working in California and Maryland. I've worked in many settings including schools, hospitals, and grief care. I grew up overseas and have an awareness of culture, and cultural effects on mental health. I have helped clients with grief, adjustment to life changes, immigration stressors and adjustment, parenting, especially new mothers, as well as anxiety and distorted thinking around anxiety.
My Background and Approach
My counseling style is warm and supportive and I believe in helping my clients find their strengths and their solutions. I use modalities from humanistic therapy, client centered and cognitive behavior therapy. I look forward to being your ally and working with you!
