You're smart, capable, and constantly exhausted — and you can't figure out why everything feels harder for you than it seems to for everyone else. Maybe you're drowning in unfinished tasks, stuck in your own head, or carrying stress that never fully goes away. I work with adults, teens, and children navigating ADHD, anxiety, and trauma — including men, educators, and helping professionals who spend their lives caring for others but struggle to ask for help themselves.
My Background and Approach
I'm Tallie Gigi Stein, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) practicing in Laguna Beach and virtually throughout California. My work is rooted in the belief that the way your brain works isn't a flaw — it's a starting point. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, and trauma, and I've found that these often show up together in people who appear high-functioning but feel privately overwhelmed. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, and trauma-focused approaches — not because I follow a script, but because different brains need different tools. Sessions are warm, direct, and practical. I'm not here to just listen — I'm here to help you make actual progress. I work with adults, teens, children, couples, and families. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can see if we're a good fit before committing to anything.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they don't have to perform or explain themselves. I'm drawn to working with people who've been told they're "too much" or "not enough" — because in my experience, those are usually the most interesting, creative, and capable people in the room. I also believe good therapy shouldn't feel like homework.
