About My Clients
I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I have experience working with a wide range of mental health challenges including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and trauma. In my practice, I aim to work together with clients to explore and develop individualized plans for meeting goals and improving quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker and studied at New York University (NYU) where I obtained my master's degree in social work. I use a strengths-based and mindfulness approach combined with evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. My passion is in helping people overcome obstacles and meet their goals in order to live healthy and fulfilled lives. For many people, the idea of therapy can be scary or overwhelming and that is okay. It is my goal to be able to provide a supportive and compassionate space for people to feel safe sharing their thoughts and feelings.
