About My Clients
My clients are high-achieving young adults who are self-aware and tired of repeating the same emotional and relationship patterns. They've often tried therapy before and felt something was missing — the work stayed too surface-level. Many come from Latino, Jewish, or multicultural backgrounds and value a therapist who understands the intersection of culture, spirituality, and mental health. They want real change, not just coping skills.
My Background and Approach
I have nearly 10 years of clinical experience across Mexico and the United States, working with individuals in individual, group, and family settings. My training spans trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety, attachment wounds, and complex family dynamics — across community clinics, counseling centers, and private practice. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Miami, and have trained at Lotus Counseling Center, Jewish Community Services, and with survivors of domestic violence using trauma-focused, somatic, and holistic approaches. My work is integrative and depth-oriented. I combine trauma-informed care, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, DBT, and emotional processing. Sessions are experiential — we don't just talk about patterns, we work through them at the body and emotional level. I am warm and direct, and I will gently challenge you, because that's where real growth happens.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens when we treat the whole person — not just symptoms. That means understanding everything that makes you who you are: your history, relationships, culture, spirituality, body, and belief systems. I come from a multicultural background and deeply understand navigating identity, family expectations, and personal growth — especially within Latino and Jewish communities. I bring that lived understanding into the room. I also believe spirituality and mental health are not separate. For clients who are open to it, I integrate spiritual and energy-based perspectives as part of holistic healing. Faith, meaning, and purpose are often at the heart of the work. Therapy, in my view, is not about managing life. It's about understanding yourself so deeply that you stop being run by old patterns — and start living with clarity, connection, and genuine freedom.
