Accepting Clients

You’ve built a life that looks successful. Let’s build one that feels like yours. I’m Taj, a Masters Level therapist in McDonough, GA.

Mental Health Counselor in McDonough, GA
Supervised by Latrice Love, Ph.D., Psy.D., LPC-S

About My Clients

I work with adults and young adults (18+) who appear high-functioning on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. I provide a warm, supportive space for navigating anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, boundaries, relationships, grief, and life transitions. I enjoy working with people who spend so much time showing up for everyone else that they’ve lost sight of themselves.

My Background and Approach

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and eclectic. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical. I meet you where you are while helping you take an honest look at the patterns, beliefs, and circumstances keeping you stuck. I also recognize that our mental health is shaped by more than what happens inside our heads. Family, relationships, culture, identity, work, community, and larger systems can all influence how we understand ourselves and move through the world. Please Note: My office is located upstairs with no elevator access.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest without having to perform, have all the answers, or explain away what you’re feeling. I’m a firm believer that taking care of yourself is productive.
