About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples carrying relational trauma, attachment wounds, and nervous system dysregulation, often rooted in systemic and intergenerational harm. I welcome those impacted by systems that have caused harm, including neurodivergent kids, parents, and couples, those from marginalized backgrounds, and those seeking deeper healing work to build internal strength and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate practicing in Austin, drawing on training in Internal Family Systems, attachment based care, somatic and nervous system focused work, and Relational Cultural Theory. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in education and school advocacy work, which shaped how I understand systems, power, and the everyday realities families navigate. My approach centers curiosity over pathology: rather than treating symptoms as problems to fix, I help clients understand what their nervous system, attachment patterns, and internal parts are trying to protect them from. This means sessions that move at the pace of trust, honor the body alongside the mind, and hold both personal healing and the larger context shaping a client's pain. Clients leave with more than insight. They leave with tools they can actually use, and a felt sense of being met rather than managed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not about adjusting to conditions that were never healthy in the first place. My work is grounded in a liberation centered framework, meaning I hold space for grief, rage, and joy as part of the same process, and I do not ask clients to make peace with harm in order to be considered well. Outside of clinical work, I care deeply about community building and creative expression as forms of healing in their own right.
