About My Clients

I work best with teens (13+) and adults who feel stuck, unseen, or like they’re never enough. Many of my clients turn to games, anime, or other fandoms to escape, recharge, or find a sense of control when life feels overwhelming. In therapy, you don’t have to perform or explain everything—you get to just be yourself. I support BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and anyone ready to unlearn self-doubt and start recognizing their own worth.

My Background and Approach

As a trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in helping teens (13+) and adults untangle the impact of trauma, anxiety, and relational wounds. My training includes Trauma-Focused CBT and ongoing work with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating identity, systemic stress, and emotional overwhelm. I show up as my full self in the therapy room—grounded, curious, and real—so you can feel safe doing the same. Clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, honesty, and ability to gently challenge them when they need it. Whether you’re working through childhood pain, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or just trying to understand yourself more deeply, I’m here to help you reconnect—with your body, your voice, and your truth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy is not just about healing the individual—it’s about honoring our stories within the systems that shaped us. I’m a proud Black woman and an active supporter of Black Lives Matter, LGBTQIA+ rights, disability justice, and plus size liberation. I strive to create a space that affirms all identities and challenges harmful narratives rooted in oppression, shame, and silence. I’m especially passionate about decolonizing mental health and making therapy more accessible, inclusive, and human. Outside of the therapy room, I advocate for mental health awareness, community care, and the dismantling of stigma through education and conversation. If you’ve ever felt like you had to shrink parts of yourself to fit in or survive, this is a space where you don’t have to.
