Tabatha is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with a strong passion for supporting traumatized populations, women, children, families, and the LGBTQIA+ community. Currently working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Reeves, LMFT #51463. Tabatha brings a trauma-informed, empathetic approach to therapy, emphasizing healing, empowerment, and resilience for individuals and families who have experienced adversity.
My Background and Approach
Tabatha is a current student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at the University of La Verne pursuing her Master’s degree. Tabatha earned a Bachelor’s of Science In Psychology from the University of La Verne, with a particular interest in developmental psychology, epigenetics, and trauma she hopes to assist clients in their unique and individualized healing process. Tabatha has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma and its impact on mental health and relationships. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, to help clients process their experiences, rebuild trust, and create healthier, more fulfilling connections.

In working with women, children, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, Tabatha strives to create an inclusive, safe, and affirming space where clients feel empowered to explore their identities, emotions, and experiences. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities, Tabatha is committed to providing culturally sensitive and intersectional therapy that acknowledges and respects each client’s lived experience. Whether helping survivors of trauma navigate their healing journey, empowering women to reclaim their voices and sense of agency, or supporting children and LGBTQIA+ individuals through transitions, Tabatha is committed to fostering growth, self-compassion, and personal strength.
