Synthia has experience working with clients in areas of anxiety, depression, cultural identity issues, vocational development, and behavioral challenges. She strives to foster a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental experience, empowering clients to navigate toward their goals.
My Background and Approach
Synthia has previous experience working together with clients in an outpatient clinic to pursue their goals and needs. She is fluent in English and have conversational fluency in Chinese (Cantonese). Her approach focuses on fostering growth, empathy, and healing by integrating tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Multicultural/Culturally-informed Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. She integrates mindfulness techniques to encourage holistic healing and self-discovery. Each session is tailored to meet her clients where they are at, collaborating with them to help learn strategies to promote growth.
