I specialize in working with the LGBTQIAP+ population and I host workshops for allies to extend knowledge of the political challenges the queer community faces, as well as about the specifics of how domestic violence "looks" in the queer community.

I am a radically fat positive therapist with extensive knowledge about how the medical field and various cultural elements impact body image and related social difficulties.

I am an immigrant with both personal and professional knowledge of the feelings of displacement and challenges of being bi/multicultural.

I have been using CBT with clients, when appropriate, for 11 years, with the intent to develop positive thinking patterns and self-talk, as well as to challenge how to view pleasure and productivity. This model is effective with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

I believe interpersonal skills issues are a major component to social issues and related anxiety, as well as to family discord and parenting concerns; therefore, I utilize DBT for to assist clients in developing their socialization and emotion regulation skills.

I follow the Gottman Method regarding how to make romantic relationships last, and expand the ideology to family and other social relationships as well.
