About My Clients
Being in therapy is like being handed a toolbox, you learn when and how to utilize the skills to build the house you desire. My role as a therapist is to guide you on that journey. I strive to provide a space that is accepting, and authentic, where you can feel safe whether seeking to deepen your understanding of yourself or identify and accept your vulnerabilities.
My Background and Approach
My experience as a first-generation Asian immigrant provides a unique insight into recognizing the importance of culture, environment, and family in therapeutic work, and how it shapes our identity. In our therapeutic journey together, we will explore how your family, childhood, and early interpersonal interaction impact your current interpersonal relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a trauma-informed, Social Justice oriented, relationally oriented therapist at Talking works, who uses several modalities to cultivate a strength-based, non-judgmental environment that supports you on your therapeutic journey.
